As a registered non-profit association, GEWISA serves as a point of contact for individuals and organisations wishing to support research in health sciences and environmental medicine in Augsburg. The association aims to provide funding for related research activities in Augsburg and to increase their visibility and awareness among the general public.

Our association, “Friends and Supporters of Health Sciences in Augsburg e. V.” (“Friends and Supporters of Health Sciences in Augsburg”), was entered in the Augsburg Register of Associations on February 4, 2016 under registration number VR 201794. By notice dated July 7, 2016, the association was officially recognised as a non-profit organisation pursuant to Section 5 of the German Corporation Tax Act (KStG) (Tax No. 103/108/51294, Augsburg-Stadt Tax Office).

Membership fees and donations are therefore tax-deductible in Germany. Once your payment has been received, we will issue a donation receipt.
